We Are Forest Trotter, Your Albertan Logging and Hauling Service

Forest Trotter is an independently owned logging operations company with its head office in La Crete, Alberta. For years, we’ve had the privilege of working with great people and advanced equipment to bring excellent logging, hauling and more to our province. Our services go beyond logging: we also tackle seedling snow caches, line clearing, snow clearing, winter road building and silviculture site preparation. On the hauling side, we tackle all sorts of trucking services. Our repertoire extends from log hauling, lowbed hauling, Hi-Boy trucking, to gravel and dirt hauling.

We take pride in establishing goals both for Forest Trotter as a group and for each individual project we take on. Our goals enable us to focus on a plan that will guide us to a higher standard of quality and to complete work on time. We are committed to serving our clients thoughtfully each day we’re in operation.

Forest Trotter has over 8 lines of logging equipment available to meet your needs, including snowcats, dozers, excavators, graders, snowmakers, light towers and of course feller bunchers, skidders, processors, delimbers and log loaders.
